CHS welding students went to contest on Saturday, 3/23/24. Several students received certifications.
Senior, Brayan Camarena Arellano, won 1st place. He received lots of prizes including a carbon fiber welding hood, 2 pairs of welding gloves, grinding discs, 2 high visible vests for working at construction sites, a Maglite flashlight, a jacket, a hat and a banner.
Brayan also got a $5,000.00 scholarship to ARCLABS welding school. Locations include Fort Worth and Houston, Texas.
