It Is Time for High School Registration!!! Monday, March 1, Registration at CHS from 4:30-6:00 for students with last names starting with A-L. Tuesday, March 2, Registration at CHS from 4:30-6:00 for students with last names starting with M-Z.

***Attention*** The Junior High track meet scheduled for Monday, March 1st has been canceled.

Although temperatures are rising, most roads are clear, and snow is gone. There are some areas of Panola County where trees overshadow the asphalt roads, thereby prolonging icy conditions. This makes travel difficult in those areas. Also, some families still do not have water. The number of children affected by these conditions could be several hundred. With an abundance of caution, we are delaying the start of classes on Monday, February 21, until 10:00 AM. Buses will be running two hours later than normal. We urge everyone to drive carefully and be especially watchful for buses stopped on the roads picking up children.

CJHS Cheer Tryout information!

Friday, February 19th, will be taken as a bad weather day due to the continued threat of inclement weather and poor road conditions. We hope all Bulldogs are staying safe and warm!

Packets went home today with students. If you have an absent child you may pick up his/her packets from the Junior High office Friday, February 12 from 8:30 AM - 11:30AM and 12:30 PM -2:30 PM.

Due to the weather, and school going virtual next week, we are moving the tryout process, including judges and clinic to the following week. Same time just a week later. Clinic Tuesday Wednesday the 23-24th Mock tryouts Thursday the 25th. Tryouts the 26th.

Please keep your child home if they have ANY COVID 19 symptoms. Notify the school nurse if your child has been in contact with someone with COVID 19. Students need to log on to their Teacher's Google Classroom to complete their work everyday.

A huge thank you to Hospitality ER for providing the Junior High with an amazing lunch from Jason’s Deli. We are truly grateful for your thoughtfulness and kindness.

Bulldogs will play in Center on Thursday February 4. The games will start at 5:00 P.M.

Bulldogs will play against Palestine Thursday, on January 28, in the CJHS Gym at 5:00 P.M.

Seventh grade Lady Dawgs will play in Palestine on Thursday, January 28. The games will start at 5:00 P.M. Eighth-grade girls' basketball games are canceled.

🐾 Cheer Tryouts for the upcoming 9th grade students 🐾 You must be signed up by 3 pm on January 29th and attend a mandatory parent meeting on February 3 at 5:45 to be eligible to try out. The meeting will be held on February 3 At CHS in the PLC At 5:45pm At least one parent must attend.
