šš„ Culinary Collaboration at CHS! š©āš³šØāš³
At Carthage High School, our teachers donāt just teach...they inspire. Mrs. Horsleyās Intro to Culinary students recently joined forces with Mrs. Smithās Advanced Culinary class for a hands-on lesson that blended fresh homemade lemonade, perfectly seasoned potatoes, and a whole lot of Bulldog pride.
Intro students practiced their fundamental kitchen skills, while Advanced students stepped into leadership roles by mentoring, guiding, and modeling what it means to succeed. Behind it all were two incredible teachers whose passion, innovation, and dedication to student growth continue to make CHS a place where learning comes alive.
This lesson is just one shining example of the wide array of Career & Technical Education (CTE) opportunities offered at CHS: from Culinary Arts to Graphic Design, Health Science, Agriculture, and beyond. These programs open doors, build skills, and prepare our students for bright futures.
We are proud of our teachers. We are proud of our students. We are proud of CHS. ā¤ļøš¤

š§¬āØ Anatomy in Action with Mrs. Hadwinās Class! āØš§¬
Learning comes alive when students get to step out of their seats and experience concepts firsthand. In Anatomy & Physiology, Mrs. Hadwinās students took their lesson on directional and regional terms of the human body to the next level by going full scale!
Armed with giant sheets of butcher paper and markers, students traced full-sized outlines of the human body and then worked together to label and model anatomical regions. From identifying the proximal end of the femur to mapping out the cephalic and abdominal regions, the class used collaboration, creativity, and movement to master important medical vocabulary.
This kind of interactive learning not only builds deeper understanding but also creates a classroom environment where students are engaged, confident, and excited about what theyāre learning. A huge shoutout to Mrs. Hadwin for making science unforgettable and showing our Bulldogs that education can be active, hands-on, and fun! ā¤ļøš¤
