🐾🏈 BIG HONOR FOR DAWG NATION! 🏈🐾 Carthage linebacker Qui Beck has been named the Week 5 Class 4A Built Ford Tough Player of the Week! 🔥💪 Beck — a Texas A&M verbal pledge and last year’s Defensive MVP in the Class 4A Division II state title game — turned in a dominant performance in the Dawgs’ 42-0 win over Jasper. In just over a quarter of play, the senior linebacker racked up 11 tackles, a sack, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery that he returned for a touchdown. So far this season, despite spending much of the second half of games on the sideline due to big Dawg leads, Beck has still totaled 30 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 5 QB pressures, 3 pass breakups, 2 fumble recoveries and a sack — showing why he’s one of the state’s elite defenders. 📺 TONIGHT at 10:30 PM Beck will be featured on the Built Ford Tough Player of the Week Show — and we want to fill the virtual stands with Dawg Nation support! Austin State University (SFA). 🌟 Through this innovative Panola College–SFA partnership, students can earn a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies — all while continuing their education close to home. Lupita and Valeria also connected directly with leaders in SFA’s education department, opening doors to their future careers in teaching. At CHS, we’re committed to helping every student discover their passions, explore career pathways, and take real steps toward their post-secondary goals. Our strong partnership with Panola College gives Bulldogs access to unique opportunities, dual-credit courses, and programs that help them transition seamlessly to college and beyond.
