CHS Welding took 5 hardworking, talented young men to Houston today to a welding contest. Out of 140 contestants, they got 1st in written test/tool ID, 3rd in 2F fillet welds, 4th in 3G open butt groove weld. Congratulations.


Congratulations to Coach Tucker on his 100th win as CHS Head Basketball Coach. Way to go Coach! He still does the small things, such as sweeping his gym floor before the game.. Great example Coach!



Students in Mr. Pattersonās Honors Physics class built mousetrap race cars last week and Kenny Comptonās was the winner! The minimum distant required for the cars to go was 40 feet, but Kenny was able to get his to travel 165 feet! Great job Kenny!

It's College, Career and Military Wednesday! Congratulations to Avery Malone for her acceptance to Louisiana State University. While Avery is currently undecided on her major, she plans to attend law school after earning her bachelor's degree.


It's College, Career and Military Wednesday! Kaylyn Shaw is going to play College Basketball at Panola College and transfer to Bossier Community College. She plans to pursue a degree in occupational therapy.
