Carthage High School will host a community-wide celebration in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month on Sunday, October 12, 2025, from 4:30 to 8:00 p.m. in the Carthage High School Gym.
The event will feature authentic Hispanic cuisine, art and history exhibits, and music and dance performances that highlight the rich culture and traditions of Hispanic communities. Students, families, and local residents are invited to join in honoring the history, heritage, and cultural contributions of Hispanic Americans.
Hispanic Heritage Month, observed nationally from September 15 to October 15, recognizes the histories, cultures, and achievements of Americans whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. The Carthage celebration offers an opportunity for the community to come together, learn, and enjoy an evening of culture and unity.
The event is free and open to the public.
