
Our robotics team traveled to Texarkana to compete in a VEX competition. During the qualifying rounds, our two teams finished in 1st & 8th places. Entering into quarterfinals, our teams formed an alliance and came in second place overall, losing to the reigning state champions!!





Students in Mrs. Webster's Spanish classes got a lesson on culture today and were treated to an authentic Columbian snack. When learning a language, it's so important to also learn about the culture and countries where it is spoken. Great job, Mrs. Webster!





Students in our āTeaching and Trainingā program are rocking and rolling in their assigned internships this semester! Students get the experience of helping with different ages, leading lessons and preparing class materials.

Our boys golf team kicked off their season today at the Spring Hill Invitational with a second place team win! Great job! ā³ļø

Kathy Ingram and Ginny Collins work together in the front office and have been a total rockstar team recently. We wouldn't run nearly as efficiently without their hard work and dedication each day. Thank you ladies for all that you do!

Cheer tryouts are right around the corner! Students must sign up in the office by January 28th and attend the parent meeting on February 2nd.


The science hall is hopping this Monday morning! Mouse trap race car projects are beginning in Honors Physics and our Biology āscientistsā are conducting experiments!





We had over 44 units of blood donated yesterday during our blood drive. Thank you to all who participated and Mrs. Funderburk for working as our blood drive coordinator!


Students from several different departments made gifts for our school board members tonight for Board Appreciation Month. Our students are so talented!



CHS is hosting a blood drive tomorrow in the PAC. We welcome community members to join us in donating blood.

Our FFA chapter hosted the Longview District today in the Performing Arts Center! Awesome!
