Alyssa is a natural leader in the classroom who truly loves the kids and takes time to build meaningful relationships with each one of them. 📈 Growth as an educator: Over the past two years, Alyssa has grown from a shy student into a confident, dependable presence in the classroom. She has become a true light in the room, and students immediately notice when she is not there. ⭐ Strengths & Teaching Qualities: Kind, caring, and structured. 🌟 Practicum Student Spotlight: Adouria McLemore 🌟 Mentor Teacher: Ms. Twomey – Carthage Primary, 1st Grade We’re excited to shine a spotlight on CHS Practicum student Adouria McLemore, whose heart for teaching is evident the moment she walks into the classroom! 💛🍎 From day one, Adouria has shown incredible initiative, stepping in naturally, connecting with students, and bringing patience, empathy, and reliability to every situation. Her mentor teacher describes her as a promising future educator with a gift for working with young learners. 📘 How She Has Grown: Adouria has always connected well with the kids, and she’s learning how to balance the authoritative role with confidence. She consistently steps in to support student needs and takes initiative without hesitation. ✨ Strengths Noticed: • Makes students feel comfortable and excited to learn • Shows up prepared and dependable • Ready to jump into whatever the classroom needs 💛 A Favorite Memory: On Fall Festival Day, Adouria arrived ready to help and handled the busiest part of the day with maturity and enthusiasm.
