Carter BloodCare presented Carthage High School Student Council with a check for a $1000 as a participating school in the Great Grants Program. To be eligible for the grant, CHS has to host at least 3 blood drives and meet goals presented by Carter BloodCare consultants.


Just a reminder that picture re-takes for 9th, 10th, and 11th grades is tomorrow, Wednesday, 10/4/23.


CHS hosted the TACRAO College Fair on Monday, September 25th. Juniors and seniors were able to get valuable information from multiple institutions. Thank you to all those who helped make this even a success and valuable event for our students.

Due to power outages on several campuses, Carthage ISD will operate on a two-hour delayed start on Monday, August 28. All district and campus operations will run two hours later than normal. Any additional updates will be communicated as soon as possible.

Schedule Pick Up Reminder:
Schedule Pick Up: 7/26 Seniors (8-11am and 12:30-3:30pm)/ 7/27 Juniors (8-11am)/ 7/27 Sophomores (12:30-3:30pm) and 7/31 Freshman FISH Camp (2-5pm)
If students are not able to pick up their schedule on the designated day, the student may send a parent or guardian to pick up the schedule. If the student is a senior, the parent or guardian will need to meet with a counselor.
Due to time constraints and extracurricular activities, if you cannot make it to the school on the designated day, you may pick up the schedule on August 1st.
